Dark and strong. It dosn't lack flavour but you couldn't say it was a great beer. It really could be a lot better. However it is drinkable which is more than you can say about many others.

Reasonable strength - reasonable taste - very easy to drink if you like darker ales.

A reasonably tasty beer. Varies from being good to average. But not a bad pint overall.

This is quite readily available in most places, a good strength however slightly lacking in flavour and aroma.

I thought this was a very palatable beer no real strong flavours but a touch of sweetness

Cask conditioned at The Tottenham, London. Deep amber/copper colour, minimal head. Aroma of nuts and red fruits. Flavour is a bit alcoholic with a substantial hoppy bitterness, which leaves a nice aftertaste.

A mid brown ale with a rich fruity flavour. Good strength and balance of malt & hops with an increasing bitter finish.

A darker ale than most with a half-decent flavour but not one of the world's greatest beers.

Darkish brew with quite a robust fruity taste, easy drinking and would be a better choice than Abbott Ale
