A deep ruby red coloured ale. A little fruit in the taste but rather lacking in the aroma stakes. The overall finish was a little plain and needed a little more hopping.

Tasted this ruby ale at the Troon Beer Festival in October 2008. Clear ruby red in colour with a thin creamy white head. Interesting aroma of boiled strawberry and diluted malt vinegar! This ale was not off though and was in top condition. Thin in mouthfeel and good lacing. Dark malts give a sweet, fruity note of summer berries with strawberry once again to the forefront. Very thin hop presence noted giving a more sweeter edge to the finish. An ok session ale, just not too sure about that aroma though.
