Fabulous. If you get the chance to drink absolution try it. This is a real ale fans dream. Absolution must rate as one of abbeydales best.

Pale, golden coloured strong bitter. Fabulous floral fruity taste with just the right amount of bitterness. Abbeydale beers are hard to fault and rarely dissappoint.

I expected much more from this ale, it was good but not as good as I expected. A flavoursome ale which I would look forward to drinking again.

[On draft at the North Wiltshire Beer Festival]. My barely legible festival scribblings say "Citrus flavours are rather blotted out by the sweet, syrup-y aftertaste". I do remember being disappointed considering this beers high reputation.
